Frequently asked questions
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rentals include a 7-day window. Need more time? Just call us and we can extend your rental.
What size do I need? For most single-room cleanouts or small projects, a 10 yard works fine. Kitchen or bathroom remodels typically need a 20 yard. For full home cleanouts or large renovations, go with the 30 yard. Not sure? Call us and we’ll help you figure it out.
Can I put the dumpster on the street? In most cases we recommend placing it on your driveway. Street placement in Amarillo may require a permit from the city. We can help point you in the right direction if you need one. If your driveway is exposed to the afternoon wind, we can also discuss the best orientation to keep lighter debris from blowing out. See our Amarillo dumpster permit guide for details.
How fast can you deliver? We offer same-day delivery when you call before noon. Next-day delivery is available for later calls.
What happens if I go over the weight limit? Overages are charged per ton. We’ll let you know the rate when you book so there are no surprises. See our dumpster rental cost page for a full breakdown of what’s included and what affects the price.
Can I throw away anything? Most household and construction debris is fine. We can’t take hazardous materials, tires, freon appliances, or certain electronics. See our full list of prohibited items.
How much does a dumpster rental cost? Pricing depends on the size you need, what you’re hauling, and how long you keep it. See our Amarillo dumpster rental cost page for what’s included and what affects the price.
Should I use a dumpster or junk removal? For most jobs over one pickup truck load, a flat-rate dumpster rental is cheaper. See our dumpster vs. junk removal comparison to figure out which fits your project.
Can’t I just use the City of Amarillo’s alley dumpster? City alley dumpsters are for regular household trash only - not construction or renovation debris. For cleanouts, remodels, or roofing tear-offs, you need a private roll-off rental. See our City of Amarillo dumpster vs. roll-off rental guide for a full breakdown.
