Estate cleanout dumpster rental in Amarillo, TX
Clearing out a home after a death in the family is a lot of work on a tight timeline. A dumpster at the property lets you focus on sorting and clearing rather than hauling. We deliver same-day when you call before noon. Flat rate pricing covers delivery, pickup, and disposal. No surprises on the bill when you’re already dealing with enough.
What Size Do You Need?
For most Amarillo homes, a 20-yard covers the job. It holds around 6 pickup truck loads and works for a 3-bedroom house with standard furniture and household goods.
Step up to a 30-yard for larger homes, homes with decades of accumulated storage, or properties where outbuildings like a detached garage or shop need to be cleared as well.
If the house has been unoccupied for years and used as storage, call us and describe what you’re working with. We’ll help you avoid having to order a second container.
Amarillo Notes
Estate cleanouts in Potter and Randall County often involve a probate process that determines the timeline for when the property can be cleared. Older east-side Amarillo neighborhoods have homes with decades of accumulated contents. Factor in extra time for sorting and plan the dumpster rental to cover at least a week.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to clear a 3-bedroom house?
Most families need 2 to 4 days for a full estate cleanout, depending on how much sorting is involved. The standard 7-day rental window covers most jobs. If you’re coordinating with family members coming from out of town and need more flexibility, call us and we can arrange an extended rental.
What happens if the dumpster fills up before we’re done?
Call us. We can schedule a swap. We pick up the full container and drop an empty one. It’s an additional charge, but it keeps the job moving. If you think the job is larger than a 30-yard, let us know before delivery so we can plan the right approach.
We found old chemicals and pesticides in the garage. What do we do?
Those cannot go in the dumpster. The City of Amarillo runs a household hazardous waste program for disposing of chemicals, pesticides, and similar materials. Set them aside during the cleanout and take them to a designated drop-off site.
Can we put old electronics in?
No. TVs, monitors, computers, and similar electronics are considered e-waste and cannot go in the dumpster. The City of Amarillo has periodic electronics recycling events where these can be dropped off at no cost.
