Will the dumpster fit in my driveway?
A 10-yard is 12 feet long and 3.5 feet tall. It fits most standard Amarillo driveways without blocking the sidewalk or street. A 20-yard is longer. If your driveway is short or angled, call ahead and we’ll work out placement before arrival.
What do I do with the old fridge or freezer in the garage?
Refrigerators and freezers contain freon refrigerant and cannot go in the dumpster. Most appliance retailers will haul off the old unit when delivering a new one. The City of Amarillo also runs periodic bulky waste pickup events for large appliances.
How long do I have to fill it?
Standard rental is 7 days. Most garage cleanouts are done in a weekend. If you need more time, call before the window closes and we’ll extend it.
Can I put old paint cans in?
Not if they contain liquid paint. Dried, empty cans are generally fine. Latex paint can be dried out by leaving the lid off and letting it harden before disposal. Oil-based paint is hazardous waste and needs to go to a drop-off facility.
