Yard waste & tree debris dumpster rental in Amarillo, TX
A big storm or a major landscaping project can produce more yard waste than a pickup truck can handle in a day. Branches, brush, root balls, sod, and fencing pile up fast. A dumpster at the curb lets you move through the job without hauling to the landfill between loads. Same-day delivery in Amarillo when you call before noon. Flat rate pricing, what we quote is what you pay.
What Size Do You Need?
A 10-yard handles most yard cleanups: trimming a few trees, clearing a fence line, cleaning up after a moderate wind event. It holds around 3 pickup truck loads and parks easily in a driveway.
Step up to a 20-yard for larger projects: full tree removal, significant landscaping overhauls, or post-storm cleanup across a large property. Yard waste is lighter than construction debris, so the 20-yard usually works for volume without hitting weight limits.
If you’re clearing a heavily wooded lot or dealing with multiple large tree removals, call us and we’ll talk through the scope before delivery.
Amarillo Notes
Blue northers in the spring can knock down substantial limb loads in a matter of hours. The cottonwood and mulberry windbreaks common in west Amarillo are especially prone to large limb drops when those cold fronts push through. After a storm, call early. Demand for containers goes up fast and same-day delivery is not guaranteed during high-volume periods.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I put whole tree trunks in the dumpster?
Short sections, yes. Long trunks need to be cut down to fit within the container walls without hanging over the sides. Most trees should be cut into sections no longer than 4 to 5 feet. Thick trunk sections add up in weight faster than branches. Call us if you’re removing a large-diameter tree.
Is yard waste accepted at the Amarillo landfill?
Yes. The City of Amarillo accepts yard waste at the landfill and also offers curbside yard waste pickup on a scheduled basis. If your load is small, curbside pickup may be sufficient. For large cleanup jobs or storm debris, a dumpster is faster and more convenient.
What about fencing material?
Wood fencing is generally fine. Metal fencing, wire, or chain link is not accepted. It creates safety hazards during loading and handling. Treated wood fencing with chemical preservatives cannot go in. It contains hazardous material.
How long can I keep the dumpster for a multi-day yard project?
Standard rental is 7 days. Most yard projects wrap up in a weekend. If you need more time, call before the window closes and we’ll extend the rental.
